Add a "from" price on my theme, I am using the supply theme,

Topic summary

Goal: show a “From” price on product pages in the Supply theme to avoid the page displaying only the cheapest item in a set (variants = product options like size/color with different prices).

Proposed solutions:

  • Theme Editor (no code): On the Default product page, add a Text block above the Price block and enter “From” (applies to all products). A screenshot is referenced to illustrate where to add it.
  • Conditional display (code): If you want “From” to appear only when products have variants, edit the product page template per a linked community guide. Make a backup copy of the theme before customizing.
  • Support options: If using a free Shopify theme and you have complimentary design time remaining, Shopify Support may implement this. Use the Contact Us link after logging in.
  • Alternatives: Use an app (e.g., Addify) or hire help via the Shopify Experts marketplace.

Status: No confirmation from the original poster; guidance provided with multiple paths, but outcome unresolved.

Hi all

I am trying to add a “from” price on my theme, I am using the supply theme,

I have a set of products on one listing, a customer can buy the whole set or just one item, the price is showing just the cheapest item which is misleading, how do i add prices from.

any help will be appreciated.

Hi @cmdprint ,

Great question!

If you want to add this test before price to all your products, whether they have variants or not, you could simply add the text block above the price block in the theme editor. You can see in the screenshot below how to do it. Go to your Theme Editor and select the Default product page. The text block should be added by default, but you can always manually add it by clicking Add block within the Product Information section. Then edit the text and save.

If you’d like to condition this text to show up only when your products have variants, then you will need to edit the product page template code. There are some guides from other Community users that you could try and test on your theme, such as this one. Before you customize a theme, it’s a good idea to make a backup copy to discard your changes and start again if necessary.

Assuming you are using Shopify free theme and your store has enough complimentary design time left, our team may be able to look into this for you if the customization is supported.

You can reach out to our Contact Us page at this link. Then log in to your store. It will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reach out to a Support Advisor.

Finally, you can use an app like Addify or post a job on the Shopify Experts Page and see what feedback and quotes you get.
