Hi, Long shot question?
We are a paint your own pottery studio, and wondered if there was a way to take a photo of items in a sale after they have finished painting the products, at the POS when the customers is paying and attach it to the individual sale transaction?
This would help us identify the finished product from the hundreds of items when they are being collected a week later.
For example, on each sale before checkout, you could use the “More Actions”
It already has “Add Note” perhaps it could allow the insertion of a photo taken on the iPad or mobile, or take a photo and insert a link to where the location of photo is stored rather than the actual photo.
or perhaps add an additional option “Add photo”? again adding a link to the file location rather than the photo
I am sure we are not the only type of business that would use this? eg:- Photo of customer? Photo of items Before any repairs? or a Photo of a customer hand written notes for bespoke items? to name a few of the top of my head. If items sold with defects proof the customer knew about them at the point of sale?
Maybe wishful thinking? but I live in hope…
