On our site we have 3 collections of pre-packaged “kits” with different products that a customer can browse. Within the collection the customer could add individual items, but we wish to have an “add to cart button” on the Collection list of our home page that adds all of the collection items to the kit at once. Is this possible?
I’ve tried to paste this code and it creates the button, but doesn’t add anything to the cart. Says some parameters are missing:
Using Ride Theme and all products already have an add to cart button. This is about a shoppable COLLECTION. Grateful for any advice.
Thanks in advance!
@gswitz77 - have you tried using Shopify Bundles (free app)? You could create a bundle of all the products in the collection. The bundled products are treated as a single product from the customer viewpoint, which means you could add is as a saleable option in the collection. One of the downside of the bundles are that currently they are only viewable from your store, they cannot be included in sales channels like Meta and Google.

Thanks. No, I hadn’t. Great suggestion. Let me take a look and report back soon. This shop is meant to be fairly “closed off”, so not being included in external sales channels is a good thing!
** @gswitz77 -**glad to help. Just another tip, if you do end up using bundles, for the lead photo we either take a high-quality photo of the products in the bundle unless it is me doing it, then I use something like Canva, and make a small collage of the different products that are included in the bundle (my photography skills are a disaster).
