Add Discount Code Field at Checkout (Dawn)

Hello everyone,

I would like to have a Discount Code Field at the Checkout page for the customers to enter their discount code. Right now the field is not showing up on the Checkout page. Even though I made an active discount code, it’s still not showing the field.

I am using Dawn Theme by the way.

Help would be appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

Discounts are an excellent incentive to encourage conversion and increase sales, so let’s get them working on your store as soon as we can.

The discount field is built-in to the Shopify checkout, so let’s make sure you meet the following conditions to ensure the field shows up:

  • Have an active discount code ready for use (you confirmed this)
  • Make sure your cart and items are eligible for a discount

If you find that the discount field still doesn’t appear, please share your store URL with me along with a screenshot of how the discount code is set-up. Nevermind, I fixed it already. I had to delete the products out of my shopping cart and re add them, because I added the products in my shopping cart before I made an active discount code. :sweat_smile:

To gain insight into your situation, I’d like to ask you for the same details as I did above. Please make sure you meet the conditions set out by the discount code, and then make sure to share a screenshot with me of how you have it set up.

Furthermore, a link to the applicable products in your store to assist with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

I have a similar issue. I have checked all of the above and still not seeing the field to place the code. Where should it appear?

Disregard! I set it to start in the future not currently.
