Goal: add an “explore more”/“read more” button to each product item on a Shopify collection list (product grid on a collection page).
Current attempts: edits were made to theme.liquid and main-collection/collection-list.liquid, but had no effect. The user could not locate card-product.liquid (the product card template/snippet many themes use).
Support feedback: helper notes this is achievable with JavaScript and asks for the exact page link and a full‑screen screenshot to avoid misplacing additions.
User provided a Shopify preview link and then a screenshot of the relevant section. The helper reports the provided link does not work and requests it again.
Key context: the screenshot is central to understanding layout. “Collection list” refers to the collection page’s product cards; “card-product.liquid” is the theme file that typically controls each product card.
Status: no implementation yet. Next steps: share a working preview link and confirm the theme’s product card file to insert the button or JS hook. The thread remains open.
