Add filter/sort facility to a product page

Greetings App People,

I wish to add a search/filtering/sorting app block/section to the bottom of a product page. This could be an app or a section native to Dawn. There are some problems (as I see it) that I am running into, that I would much appreciate some assistance on. I would like the result of searching or re-filtering to be a re-rendering of just that section, leaving the remainder of the page intact. The search facility is nice, but not necessary for me, but the filter/sort is something I need.

  1. How can I get search to work if the page is not at the address “/search” ? Is this a hard requirement? It seems to be, as I don’t get any “collection” result for other page addresses.

  2. How can I arrange for the initial section load to be either a filtering on “product type” or a “product recommendation” result, limited initially to a particular “product type” or collection or tag or (something)?

  3. How can I get “product grid” to appear in the list of sections which I am allowed to add to a product page?

  4. I suppose an alternative would be to be able to add a “product information” section to a search page
