Can anyone tell me what code to add in the liquid theme for newsletter section, in order to add a first name field.
In the white box at the bottom, I’d like to have
Name: (space for name input) Email: (space for email input) and then the Submit button (as is)
Also I want the name submission to auto-populate the customer list, as the email does at present.
This is so I don’t have to go through all submitted emails trying to find/guess the first name of each person who’s signed up, and save me some time when I want to add first name fields to email newsletters using the Marketing part of the Shopify system).
My theme developer and Shopify Customer Support have said they are unable to help and have advised going to a Shopify Expert (which I can’t really afford right now).
