Hello Store & Brand owners, please add your name below if you’d like Shopify to add Global Post as a shipping option. For those who haven’t heard of this new service, it’s the most economical service when shipping small orders to Australia and New Zealand, amongst a dozen other countries.
For example, a 2 lbs package to Australia costs $25.95 versus $36.35 via USPS Global Economy that’s currently offered in Shopify. This is quite significant for our customers. Thank you.
I’ve posted on other, similar threads but without any luck. I am contacting shopify again today to ask about adding it. I first noticed the significant cost savings to customers when shipping to Australia, which is why I am most interested in it. I am able to get GlobalPost to Australia through ShipStation (what I use for shipping); however, Shopify doesn’t recognize the tracking number and the tracking link sent to the customer does not work, so I haven’t used it for that reason.
I have the same problem. My Global Post shipments fulfil as USPS in Shopify and then when my customer clicks the tracking link it takes them to a USPS page that says something to the effect of tracking number invalid.
