Add margins to custom liquid - dawn theme

Hello, I am trying to display my product description as full width, without having to get into design time.

I have used the custom liquid section and this code to get my description to show up

# {{ product.description }}

The description shows up great, but it is edge to edge, with no margin.

How do I add a left and right margin to this so the description is better fit for the page?

I am open to other methods of displaying full width descriptions as well
