Hello! Can you please tell me how to add menu items to the burger menu on the mobile version? Ecomus theme

Here are the steps to add menu items to the mobile burger menu in the Ecomus Shopify theme:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Navigation.

  2. Click on the menu that is set as the “Main menu”. This is the menu that appears in the header and mobile burger menu.

  3. To add a new menu item, click “Add menu item”. Enter the name of the menu item and choose what it links to - you can link to a page, collection, product, or custom URL.

  4. Arrange the order of the menu items by dragging and dropping them into the desired position. The order here will be reflected in the mobile burger menu.

  5. If you want to create a dropdown menu with subcategories:

  • Add the top-level item
  • Drag any related items underneath it to make them nested
  • Click the 6 dots icon to indent the sub-items

  1. Click Save menu when finished.

  2. The menu items will now appear in the burger menu when viewed on mobile. You can preview this by clicking the mobile icon when customizing your theme.

Some key things to keep in mind:

  • The Ecomus theme automatically converts your main navigation menu into a mobile-friendly burger menu, so no additional setup is required
  • Focus on adding your main product categories and important pages to the menu for easy navigation
  • Keep the mobile menu concise by nesting related subcategories under main items
  • The order and hierarchy you set in the Navigation settings will be used for the mobile menu
