Add Photo Caption/Credit to Images in Blog Post

Hello!

I’m trying to figure out how to add captions to the images in my blog posts so I can properly credit the photographer and add copyright info for the business. I’m not sure if this is something that can be done just with some coding tweaks or if there are 3rd party apps that could help me do this.

I’d like to keep this simple, and would prefer to avoid paid apps if at all possible.

I’m using the Venue theme and the basic shopify blog editor.

Do you want to name of the photographer on every different images…Right? if yes then we can make a metafield on every post then we will be able to enter text. But if you want to display name on the blog image then you need to done by some custom code. So you can hire a certified expert for do it

What I’m going for is to have the name of the photographer displayed beneath each image, where the red line is on the attached screenshot. Ironically enough, when creating this post it gave me the option to create a caption for it…so it appears to be a function of the shopify help forum, but not the shopify blog. :face_savoring_food:

Could you please provide the link to the blog you’re referring to? Additionally, I’d like to clarify how you want the changes to be applied:

  1. Do you want to add specific fields that are already available in Shopify’s blog settings?
  2. Should these changes vary depending on each blog post or image?
  3. Alternatively, are you looking to add fixed custom fields that apply universally?
