Add Product Page - how to edit Weight for Litre (measurement for water)

Hi,

I am on Add Product Page, I need to enter the measurement for water (Litre).

I ticked the box “This is a physical product” then in the Weight dropdown I don’t have an option to enter litre for water.

Is it possible to add litre to the dropdown list near Weight on the add product page?

Shopify doesn’t have a built-in option to add liters (L) as a unit of measurement in the weight dropdown on the product page. However, you can use the Custom Fields feature or Metafields to add additional information like liters for water.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Go to Settings > Custom data: https://prnt.sc/T0eg-x2QJdPK
  2. Add a custom metafield for the product to store the volume in liters.
  3. Use a product template or Liquid code to display this data on the product page.

This will allow you to show liters alongside weight without modifying the dropdown.
