Hi - I have a Login in page where my clients enter their password. You can’t see the password as it’s being typed so I would like to add a “Show password” checkbox to give them the option of seeing their password as they type it in.
Hi,
There are a great number of tutorials online how this can be done. One of the simplest and fitting to what you describe can be found on w3schools - Toggle Password Visibility.
Best wishes!
Hi Karl,
Thanks so much! I managed to add the “Show Password” box, but now I’m struggling with the functionality. Any tips?
I’d need to know the theme you are using and your store URL so I can take a look what has been added and what needs to be done. If it is a commercial theme, I am afraid best course of action would be to contact the theme vendor directly.
Hi Karl,
It’s the Venutre (New) theme. However, I have a locked landing page that was customized. I’ll attach a screenshot so you can see what I mean. There is an e-mail and password field under Register as well.
Hi Karl - Just checking in if you can still assist me…
Hi, have you managed to sort this out?
Sorry I haven’t replied earlier - should have mentioned that I can’t really assist you much with customised themes.
However, if you’re still stuck with this issue, I can provide you a generic solution that would need to be slightly adapted for your form (just replacing input IDs or classes). Either way, let me know.
Best wishes!
Hi Karl - I figured it out today. I just needed to play around a bit with the tip you gave, so thanks again.
Hi PheonixSC,
I wanted to ask where did you input the script exactly? I am trying it on the Shopify code edit area. I try to place it under the password liquid or anywhere the password ( Main) is. But did not see any change on the preview store.
Hi Karl,
Would you know how to apply this feature to the Boundless theme?
Regards,
where do you input
