Maybe because i am using v5 and not v15

Hello @Jayesh-Agarwal I did some quick research and it looks to me that your best bet would be to switch to the version 15 and it should become an easy fix for you. Alternatively, if you do not want to change your version but you do change your mind about using an app, I’d recommend the Add to Cart button app on the Shopify App Store.
Thanks for your suggestion. But i do not want to loose my custom codes which i have done to v5. As per the shopify update code changes won’t be included because one or more changes conflict with the update, incase i update to v15,
