Add to Cart button not adding to cart unless the page is refreshed

I’m hoping this is a simple fix — when I click ‘add to cart’ in any browser, my site no longer automatically adds the item to the cart. It does show up in the cart if I refresh the page. What’s going on? How do I make sure it’s added automatically when a customer clicks ‘add to cart’?

I’m using the narrative theme and pagefly for my product page.

Looks like PageFly is now controlling the Add to Cart function and it’s not really integrating with the functions of the theme that update the header and slide out cart.

Thank you — yes, I finally found some info on Pagefly that addresses this. Apparently a common problem. I applied the Narrative tutorial for updating the code here https://help.pagefly.io/manual/cart-drawer-does-not-automatically-update but alas now it just automatically slides opens the cart window without actually adding the product to the cart. Any other thoughts?

Actually I forgot to update one thing and went back and fixed it using this pagefly tutorial, so it worked. Thank you!

Could you share with us how you resolved the problem?

I followed the steps for the Narrative theme, but it doesn’t have the same variables as the Debut theme… So, it’s difficult to copy/paste the process :sob:

Any input would be very much appreciated.
