I want to sell something that is ‘by the square inch’. So a customer would enter their measurements in two fields (length) x (width). I want those to measurement to multiply to provide the total number of square inches, and then with that result - my price would auto calculate ( eg $1 per sq inch, and their total was 50 sq inches). Anyone know if this is possible?

We do have two options : one using the product options app and using the custom code.
If you have a specific rule for the price calculation, I do recommend for the custom code rather than using the app that charges you recurring charges.

You can consider giving the Dimension option type (with pricing formula) in the Easify Product Options app a try. It’s a versatile feature allowing you to create custom fields for Length and Width, and you can even set up pricing formulas. Here’s a quick example

Shopify doesn’t support this natively, but you can achieve it with a dedicated Shopify Price Calculator by formula app.
