I would like to add a comment box to the checkout/cart page. I am using the Dawn theme and am aware I will probably need to change the code in the theme.liquid file. I’m just not sure what this code should look like and wondered if someone could help me?

@NaomiRD - checkout page can not be edited if you are not shopify plus member, hence better to first ask support and then only upgrade, BUT your theme may have an option for notes on cart page which you will need to enable from customizer, please check that and if it works for you then you can keep this option active.

Thank you for responding. Cart notes would be perfect but having looked at what I can customise from the setting section, it doesn’t look like the Dawn theme allows this as standard.
@NaomiRD - if you want to use dawn theme only then please ask shopify support if they allow this feature for this theme, else need to change the theme
Thank you for commenting on this. I just contacted Shopify support and they told me the same thing. Had no idea it was that easy or that I could navigate to the cart from the top of the screen. I have a feeling I’ve got a lot to learn.
