Adding a Fourth Block / Column to Footer - Mojave 2.0.6

Hi there

I’m using the current version of the Mojave theme and I’m unable to add a fourth block for a menu to the footer. The demo for the theme shows five blocks but I’m limited to three. I haven’t launched the website yet so I’ve attached an image. Could someone please provide the steps to do this?

Many thanks

Hi @NPW ,

Can you share your store url

Hi,

I am new to Shopify and purchased the MOJAVE theme. I too am trying to figure out how to add blocks in the footer. The Theme’s demo store appears to have 5 blocks. Did you have any luck?

Hi

Yes I did. I contacted DigiFist who developed the theme, and their support is great. Here is their response/solution:

The footer is designed to take 5 columns, 1 is assigned for the textual which allows you to put the logo and some text (information about your store), and another 1 for the social media. This means that you can only have 3 more columns for the navigation menu that you will use in the footer so as not to clutter it up.

In our demo store, we have our menu structured as shown in the screenshot below.

Notice here that we have links under Customer Care, Our Promise, and Connect. We have used a nested menu.

This is what it looks like when creating a menu on Shopify’s Admin page. You will notice that Login, Register, and FAQs, are indented. You can do that by clicking and holding

, then sliding it to the right. That is how you do a nested menu.
