Hi, the title explains it all. I need to add a clickable hyperlink into richtext metafield. I tried following this thread -https://community.shopify.com/post/2242187
but upon testing, the line of code didn’t convert into a hyperlink. Below is the result I got.
@Chukurito
All you need to do is change the meta field type to rich text in the metafield section and then you can easily link to any text refer to the screenshot below.
thanks
@Chukurito
no problem feel free to contact
But I still can’t use metafield with URL type inside that link
@BillyIsgradov show me screenshot.
@Liquid_xPert_SJ I have a metaobject with URL type and mailto:test@gmail.com value. I want to create a Contacts page with links to contacts given from Metaobjects (without creating a new section for the theme). But I don’t see any possibilities to do that, because I can’t use URL metaobjects inside richtext, can I?
@BillyIsgradov
yes you cannot use url in richtext you have to choose a field related to url.
@Liquid_xPert_SJ Ok, I created a URL metaobject to keep a URL value (phone:…, mailto:…). How can I use it for creating a page template like this:

Email: {{ metaobjects.market_email }}
Phone: {{ metaobjects.market_phone }}
Yes, I can create a metaobject and use it for a Page template, but I still have to create links in richtext without refering to email URL metaobject. I need only one place to keep a company email and use it everywhere.
@BillyIsgradov
create a custom section for this if you only need only this information, or use any preset field which can full fill your requirements. Eg, Multi Columns,
