Adding additional information for Google Shopping Tab

How do these brands add this information to the Google Shopping tab? Thanks to your help on this forum, I’ve managed to get the bulleted items showing, but I don’t know how some brands can show product details or these variety dropdowns.

I thought the product details could be added by using “product_detail” on my feed for Merchant Centre, but nothing shows up, perhaps I’m doing it in the wrong format, but I’m sending it like this (without the quotes): “General:Wax Type:Rapeseed and Coconut”

For the variety I had assumed it was using a item_group_id and giving products of the same type a group ID to keep them together, but that doesn’t appear to have worked, either.

Historically it was added via Google Manufacturer Center: https://www.google.com/retail/solutions/manufacturer-center/

I think it is still the case, but having the product details in the Merchant Center is also a new point. However I’m not sure when and if its used to show visually.

There are lots of attributes if you add them, Google may or may not use them.

So if you don’t see it, consider using the manufacturer center if you are the manufacturer.
