Adding an additional image to the header - Impulse theme

Hi, can anyone help give advice on how to add an ‘award nominee’ picture to my header section without effecting the Logo?

I use the Impulse theme which seems impossible to update code for a novice like myself. Nothing I have ever tried to add or change works. I’d like to add a picture to the top left. I cannot add it as part of the Logo file as this is already a restricted size and just makes my logo even smaller.
