I would like to add an email signup to an existing section on my homepage and was wondering how I can go about adding one under the main paragraph and include a working submit button.

foe this you have to edit the sections and snippets file as per your requirements.
You can Hire a shopify developer for this.
This could be done using the custom liquid code and css.
