We sell 2nd hand cellphones. When we complete an order, we add a line to the order with an IMEI-number. The IMEI is like a serial number for each phone. However, this ruins our statistics. It looks like we sell double the amount of items than we actually sell, and the average order value is much lower than the actual value. Any way to remedy this?
You should use cart attributes to collect this information. You’ll need a developer to help implement this:

Hi @Verkebyllen ,
If you’re still looking for a solution, you may want to try Serializer - Product Tracking. With the app, you can associate serial numbers with your order line items. The app stores serial numbers in the order metafields and the app’s database. So you wouldn’t need to add extra lines to your orders just for serial numbers and your reports would look accurate.
