Adding customer images on each product page

Hi all, are there any good apps to use where I can add customer images on specific product pages? Kind of like an ‘as seen in’ section so people can see what each product looks like. Thank you!

@greenwichsocial , just so that I’m understanding the ask here. If a product has a picture review - you’d want to showcase it on the carousel / a specific section of your store.

This should be feasible with any review app tbh as long as they have a way to fetch the review programmatically + store your preferred reviews in a metafield which you can then render in the store with a little bit of code generated through sidekick.

If you need help with exact steps - let me know,

Do you want to add images yourself, or you want to allow customers to upload images themselves?

If you – just add a “list of image file” metafield on your products and ask AI or a dev for a section to show images from this MF on a product page.

If customers –
Usually, using the review app is the simplest way to implement this.

If you need more control over image placement and not really need apps, one can implement this using “Shopify Forms” to allow image submission and “Shopify Flow” to process these submissions and add them to product metafields/product images.

Then these will either show up in product media gallery, or can add a kinda slideshow section to show metafield images. This can be done by dev or by AI.

Hello @greenwichsocial,

I’m looking for a good app or tool that allows adding customer images to specific product pages, something like an “As Seen In” or customer gallery section. I’m considering options like Yotpo, Judge.me, or RaveCapture to show real customer photos on each product page.

Thanks!

Hello, yes, what you’re looking for is basically UGC / social proof directly on your product pages.

For that, you can use Shopify apps like Judge.me, Loox, or Yotpo. They allow you to display customer photos per product, usually under the gallery or reviews section.

A good practice is to place this section close to the product images or near the “Add to cart” button, so customers can see real people using the product right before buying.

This kind of social proof helps a lot with trust and conversions, especially for newer brands.

Hope this helps.

Hey @greenwichsocial! Yes, there are several apps that let you show customer images on specific product pages. You can use UGC or gallery apps to create an “as seen in” or customer photo section, or review apps with photo reviews that display real customer images directly on the product page.

hi @greenwichsocial @topnewyork

I spent a while searching and tried a bunch of review apps too, and the one I ended up sticking with is a customer gallery app called UserTell https://apps.shopify.com/customer-gallery

what sold me on it is that it can automatically invite recent buyers to share photos, and even send discount codes to customers who do (that part’s been great for getting submissions)

I set up the gallery as a standalone page, which has helped both with SEO and with cart conversion. hope this helps

Hi @greenwichsocial .

How are you today?

Apps like Loox, Stamped, or Okendo do this well.
Customers upload their photos, with reviews, and they show up right on the product page as the gallery.
That’s really easy to set up, no coding needed.
