I’m trying to figure out how to create 2 custom metrics that Klaviyo is able to pull from our store to know that an order is ready for local pickup, and an order has been picked up so I can cater the post-purchase email flow to those customers, as opposed to those that order for shipping. Currently there is no way to do this within Klaviyo.
The best workaround I’ve found so far for letting Klaviyo understand that a customer has placed an order for pickup is to add a shopify profile tag using the Shopify Flow app that Klaviyo is able to pull.
However, I can’t figure out a workaround to let them know when their order is ready or has been picked up, and Klaviyo and Shopify support have advised me to ask here, and said that it would require creating custom metrics.
