Adding Information to the Checkout process

Hi

Hoping you can help me

My business Jordan Guitars is currently running on the DAWN theme.

Paypal have recently changed their T&C’s which means in an event of a return/refund, Paypal will not refund the business with the fees which were incurred during the transaction - which leaves businesses out of pocket.

With this mind, we want to mention this to customers at checkout, so ensure its clear that if they choose to pay by PayPal, that the transaction fee will not be refunded if they return the item.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to add this message to the checkout stage of the store - either as a pop-up if they select Paypal as a payment method, or as a static message on the screen somewhere during checkout. Even better would be some kind of tickbox they would have to tick to proceed to make it clear they have understood with regards to the fees.

Can you advise what would be possible, and how we would implement this?

This is possible if you’re on Shopify plus plan, you can use checkout extensions to achieve that.
