Adding shipping costs for Google shopping channel

I seem to have one stubborn product that Google simply won’t accept and I can’t see any way to make it work so while the product is working on my site, it’s permanently in a pending/failed state on Google channel because it says I need to add shipping costs for some reason despite all my other products working fine.

It’s one item with variants and I’ve filled in all the other product info and all my other shipping settings for my store are working fine but I don’t know why this one is failing or how to add the value Google channel is saying is missing.

All the variant options have weight, origin country and shipping filled in.

Any ideas?

Go to Google Merchant Center > Products > Diagnostics and check if you have any issues. It is best you check the issues at source.

I figured it out, seems for some reason my shipping rate for the UK was based on weight being 0.1lb - 5lb and this product was flagged as weighing less than the minimum weight so effectively was outside the shipping band.

Tweaked the shipping to run from 0-5lb and seems to be fine now.
