I have an existing website and am wondering how I can add in shopify to my website. I also have quickbooks if that is noteworthy. i looked into shopify plus but wanted to check to see what my options were on adding shopify to my website.

If you just want to add purchase links to your existing site the Starter Plan might be all you need.

If you want a separate website for your ‘shop’ or if you want to use the ‘Buy Button’ feature (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-sales-channels/buy-button) then you will need at minimum the Basic Shopify Plan
You can integrate quickbooks to any plan using one of the available apps from the app store. https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=quickbooks&st_source=autocomplete
Shopify Plus is the enterprise level of Shopify, so unless you are doing $1m+ in annual sales, it most likely won’t be worth it for you.

If you have an external site that you’d like to sell products on, you can take advantage of the Shopify Buy Button. This button is available on our starter plan which is $7 a month and allows you to sell products on third-party platforms. We also currently offer a 3-month trial period for $1 a month which I absolutely recommend taking advantage of. This will allow you to get used to the platform to determine if it’s worth making the switch.
That being said, the Buy Button is best served by merchants who only have a few products to sell. If you have a vast catalogue you might want to consider transitioning your website fully to Shopify as it will be much more user friendly, and easier to manage.
