I am currently using the Abode theme and the default featured collection on the home page is a grid type. Is there anyway to change this into a slider type like the one below:

Yeah it is possible with one of the js library called swiper js. You have to code in featured-collection.liquid file.

Or best you can create a new section from the featured collection to create this feature

You can check some products, inside the product you will find a blue coloured card section with the slider feature.
If you are someone who codes then great, if not and you want someone to do it or atleast me to help out then I will need a collaborator access to your store since you are on a paid theme and I try these stuffs on my development store which does not allow to edit code of paid themes
