Hi Community,
I’m currently looking for a solution, so I can add a tag/note to orders, based on inventory status.
When stock-qty is >1000, my product page display a green dot.
If stock-qty is <1000 is display a yellow dot.
I’m looking for a code that will add a note to the order, if the customer purchase and stock is <1000.
Can anyone help me out?
Hi there,
I suggest you try this app called Auto Tags. You can easily tag your products and incoming orders based on real-time inventory counts.
It has workflows like “Tag orders that contain pre-order or out of stock product” in its workflow library which you can import and customize to tag orders based on line item inventory.
Also, you can add/remove product tags based on inventory quantity in real-time. This Inventory can be the product’s total inventory or even variant inventory.
The rules will be like this:
If product inventory quantity (or any of the product’s variant inventory quantity) is greater than 1000 add “customtag1”, also if inventory goes below 1000 remove it, and so on.
Apart from these there are many rules that may come in handy like tagging products based on inventory at a location, tagging orders/products/customers based on other fields like SKU, title, type, amount, address, and many more.
However, I m not sure about the code that will add a note to the orders or display a green/yellow dot.
