Just in the past week or so, adding tags to products is VERY buggy.
We have a ton of products imported from Etsy and are now retagging them all and cleaning them up.
My normal workflow is to type a term in the tag box, hit Enter, type another term, Enter,… etc.
Now, it will sometimes add the tag like it should, sometimes show a list of tags forcing me to use arrow keys or the mouse to select, sometimes not let me confirm a tag at all, and sometimes remove a tag I just added in the process for no reason at all.
Did something change with this? Is there an issue with my site to cause this?
I thought it may be just lagging with having too many tags, but even when I go slow, it will stop letting me use Enter to confirm the tag, and will still remove some I just added for no reason.
I have hundreds of products to go through and have done all way can with BPE (which is amazing), but each product requires thought behind the tagging and this is now exponentially slower and more tedious.

No, I don’t think it’s just your store because mine just started doing this. I guess there was a recent update as I noticed the Bulk edit for products has changed too (and I DO NOT like how that changed). I really wish that Shopify would actually implement changes that the Shop Owners WANT instead of stupid fixes that actually make it harder to use!
Not sure what we can do other than send TONS of requests to support to UNDO that update!
Me too ! It’s beyond frustrating I dont know what to do. I have so many new products to list.
Yep, bulk editor is also such a pain now. It used to remember the column arrangement when I went to bulk edit variants within a product. Now it resets every time and unfortunately I need to always show weight and Requires Shipping. I wish I understood what was made better by this change so I can at least see the silver lining, but as far as I can see its entirely a negative change.
Same here - adding & modifying products has been frustrating this past month. I rearrange images … the system says it saved … and I go back and they are in a different arrangement. The menus aren’t showing the proper collections in the store. I view the collection in Admin, and it shows the products fine. Variations disappear after saving. The list goes on.
