Adding text 'RRP' to appear before the strike-out price - Dawn Theme

I wish to add the text ‘RRP’ to the product page and product grid when you have a regular price and sale price, to appear before the striken- out regular price.

I am using Dawn 7.0.1, it has not been published yet.

Try to add “RRP” on line 45 of price.liquid snippet.

You can easily do it by heading to Online Store > […] > Edit code and then searching for “price”.

Hi

Thank you for the suggestion, the only problem is that the ‘RRP’ needs to only be displayed when there is a compare at price. Any items with no compare at price do not need the RRP. The ‘RRP’ text needs to be inserted when the price is crossed out, I assume there is a test to determine this within this code?

Hi

I inserted a line with ‘RRP’ after line 59 in the price.liquid snippet. This has introduced the RRP text after the compare at price, they both are struck out but it suits us and it only appears when there is a regular price and sale price.

Can anybody help me with this, I’m using Canopy which is a Purchased theme, and my price snippet is a lot different so i can’t follow the instructions. I want to install RRP when a struck out price is present. Help.

Hi, I am using theme Kalles. I have tried the way you shown but I think because it is year old and different theme it is not the same. I have attached a screenshot of my theme codes, any idea where should I add RRP?
