Hi there,
I’m using Dawn Theme and I would like to add a variation to some products, so the people can write 1 or 2 numbers (from 0 to 99) in order to customize the product. Apart from that, this customization has to add an extra cost to the product.
Can you please help me with this? I’m not too expert with codes and so, so in case there’s a solution, if you can help me step by step I would appreciate it

There is a simpler way to all this, that is to use our app BSS: Product Variants Options, it has a lot of useful features that you will need like price addons, conditional logic, discount box on cart page, SKU input for option, option quantity select,.. and many other useful features: https://apps.shopify.com/product-options-by-bss
In your case, you can install the following:
Go to Option Set → Create new option set
Here, you can select the product containing this option
You can set the rate, tooltip, value in the range you want along with some other settings
Just a few simple steps, you can display the option you want
