As part of a monthly update, collections are deleted and created by a custom app on a client’s store. These collections have rules for auto product assignment.
So far so good, but when created they are not published to any channels… OK… so I check the docs and (like a lot of it) makes no sense at all. Maybe someone can explain what this means?
Only valid with productCreate? eh? You can only publish a collection when you create a product?
And it is deprecated - use PublishablePublish instead - no link to any docs on that. So I searched and found this:
So if I arrive at a conclusion from what I read here - you can create collections but you cant use them, as you cant publish them?
Surely I have this wrong?
