This is not a question but a request for Shopify itself.
Requested solution:
Sort by full-text-search score when searching trough collections instead of keeping the sort order on the collection title.
Problem:
We have around 3500 collections in Shopify. When I search trough this list in de Admin UI it keeps te sort order of the title while returning full-text-search results. So when i search for “wood” the collections that starts with wood comes at page 4 because other collections can contain the term “wood” in there body / seo fields. You can imaging this is working horrible.
