Advanced Product Setup: Using Dates, Max Capacity for the total and for the variants?

Ive been trying to figure out how to do this with different booking apps and more.

How to set up a Shopify product for Ski Camps
For Different Dates:
November 1-7
November 8-15
A Camp with a maximum number of guests of 15 due to what our instructors can handle!
Variant A: Single Room Max 8 Guests at 2900€
Variant B: Double Room Max 7 Guests at 2600€
Variant C: Coaching Only Max 5 Guests 1300€
Note the variant’s total sum is too high and needs the camp (product) to be capped at 15.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated. I’m overwhelmed and lost.

Can you post an example with different cases and what do mean by total sum of variant.

Imagine a product that is for me a ski camp with a maximum number of guests set at 15.
Variant A: Single Room Max 8 Guests at 2900€
Variant B: Double Room Max 7 Guests at 2600€
Variant C: Coaching Only Max 5 Guests 1300€
A+B+C=20. I don’t care what combination of variants are to be sold I just don’t want to exceed the max of any variant or the max of 15 for the product.

Thanks it’s clear now and yes it can be done via custom coding in the theme.

Hi Jen,

This is achievable with BookThatApp. The app allows you to set the capacity for each variant. The dates can be scheduled in the product’s configuration (depending on the booking type used) and by adjusting the operating hours. The app has a 10-booking trial plan which ends when you have made your first 10 bookings. I would recommend giving the trial plan a go, to see if the app is a good fit for you and your business.
