So! Brief overview. We have 2 main business’s
Business 1 - Scuba Equipment distribution, wholesale and retail
Business 2 - Scuba dive operation with customers and boats
We have a fully functioning online shop for business 1 and it works well. We need to setup a new website for Business 2.
Both business need their own Homepage and subpages, as well as seperate domains www.business1.com is done, now we need www.business2.com
Is there a way we can do this from a single Shopify account, or does it need to be to seperate accounts? If possible to do from one account, any information on how to set this up would be hugely helpful. (I have done extensive research with no clear answer already)
Hi, @Diveventures . Welcome to the Community!To have two primary domains that each lead to their own respective home pages and subpages will require each store to operate from separate Shopify accounts.
However, to make the management of multiple stores easier, you can make use of the store switcher by using the same email address for both accounts. You can read more about this in the Help Doc Switching between Shopify stores.
Alternatively, there is also a third party app available in the Shopify App Store called Multi-Admin Multiple Stores; It enables managing multiple stores from a single interface. If it looks like something that may work better for you, then there is a 14-day free trial so feel free to install it and try it out. (Just remember to uninstall itbefore the trial ends if it won’t meet your needs, to ensure you aren’t charged for it).
