I’m just after some advice as I’m struggling to be able to have the variant options I want and wanted to know if there is a way or a safe app to use to do it.
I’m selling scented pods and I want to be able to on one page allow someone to pick how many pods they want (packs of 1, 6 and 12) with the price changing accordingly. Then have a drop down list of all of the scents where a customer is able to multiselect up to the amount in the pack.

I don’t know of an app that do this but this can be done with custom code. So I am assuming that the dropdown list is a list of products that the customer can have multiple items with the same scent or have unique ones. We can do this for you for a competitive price. Here’s how to set it up:
Create your bundle product with 3 variants: Pack of 1, Pack of 6, and Pack of 12, each with its corresponding price.
Install the app and create a new option set.
Add the 1st option for Flavor for the “Pack of 1” variant. Use the Image Swatch option to display all flavor choices. The key here is to apply advanced conditional logic with the Shopify variant feature, so that the scent selection only appears when customers choose “Pack of 1”, allowing them to pick just 1 flavor.
