Shopify Collabs is a great platform if you are just getting started. Collabs is free to install and available on all Shopify plans except for the Starter and Retail plans. As a Shopify app, Collabs is fully integrated with your store so you can easily generate and track affiliate offers, send gifts from your store, and pay commissions via your Shopify bill.
You can use Collabs to find influencers in a few different ways:
You can create a customized application page for creators and influencers to apply to your affiliate program. You can add this application to the header or footer of your storefront or share a direct link to it on your brand’s social channels, or in DM to creators to have them apply. You can additionally use our direct invite feature to invite creators you know you want to work with to your affiliate program on Collabs without having them apply. Lastly you can also use our recruiting search tool to discover new creators, if the creator already has a Collabs account you can inite them to our program through the Collabs platform.
Affiliate commission rates often vary based on product category, product pricepoint, product margins, and the relationship between the affiliate and the brand. Based on those factors brands should set commission rates which allow them to still make a profit but also entice affiliates to promote their products.
