With the newer changes and the new ones coming with AI, what will be the most important prep steps for getting your site ready for AI searches. I was directed to create a LLMs page but I’m curious to know the relevancy.
@HRTactical great question, and I’m pretty opinionated here.
The best way to be found by LLMs is to do what you were supposed to be doing all along: write great product descriptions, tackle different use cases and scenarios, address customer fears and doubts.
This is heavily influenced by written text, and good written text has a lot to do with clarity - being clear about what you’re offering and what problems your product solves.
The interesting thing is that these best practices should be done regardless of AI optimization initiatives.
My recommendation (and what we’re telling most brands) is to invest heavily in the right pieces of content that explains what problems your product helps solve, and make sure that information is indexable.
Heads up though: you don’t necessarily need big walls of text visible upfront. Sometimes it’s better to put this information in tabs or accordion elements so it doesn’t overwhelm the page.
Think of this as information you always needed on your site, not just something you’re adding now because of AI.
Hope it helps!
