For anyone working on their store visuals, I’d add Lensia AI Models / Product Photos. It helps you create standalone product photos or on-model shots and it’s probably the most feature-rich visual app on the store right now.

I’ve found AI is most useful for understanding store performance, not just generating content. Been following this thread, lots of good tools here. One thing I’ve noticed is that most AI tools for Shopify either generate content or build things for you, but not many actually help you understand your data.

It’s interesting to see how many AI tools are emerging for Shopify merchants. From content creation and analytics to customer retention and store optimization, there’s something for every workflow. There are many tools that refine product visuals like Pikes AI useful for streamlining tasks , adding content on product visuals and refining their look along with Midjourney for improving day-to-day efficiency.
Good thread. The pattern I keep seeing across the brands I help is that AI earns its keep on the repetitive stuff where the answer already lives in your data. Order status replies, tagging and sorting orders, drafting the same “where’s my order” and return-policy answers for the hundredth time. That’s where it actually buys back hours.
Where I tell people to slow down is letting it make decisions on its own. Refunds, cancellations, anything that touches money. The setup that’s worked best is the AI drafts it and a human clicks send, so you get the speed without waking up to a mess it created overnight.
To your last question, the thing I still wish was cleaner is an assistant that answers customer questions strictly from the store’s own orders and policies, and just says “let me check with the team” when it doesn’t know, instead of confidently making something up. Getting closer but not fully there yet.
Good thread. The test for AI tools should be simple: can they find work and produce something reviewable, or do they only generate after a prompt (re-active vs pro-active)?
Shopify Sidekick is useful for quick store questions. Shopify Flow handles predictable jobs well. atlios.io creates a brand persona of your store, finds issues across product data, images and SEO and compares it against that persona.
The useful part is not having to find every problem manually first and also not a one size fits all AI. Otherwise all AI descriptions read the same, it just doesn’t convert tbh.
Especially interested in AI tools that proactively catch work before they make it out the door without making uncontrolled changes either.
For me, the recent one is Beamtrace - it’s a fresh AI visibility tracker, and they are jsut growing. So, it’s affordable.
To clarify, I have a super small SEO agency with a few friends. The tools we use have somehow to be reflected in our pricing for customers. Menaing we can’t go for expensive solutions if we want to maintain our services affodrable. Beamtrace allowed us to include AI visibility, AEO/GEO in our current list of services to rrespond to high demand. At the same time we didn’t increase the prices too much for website owners.
