AI video generation tools

Hello community,

I am looking out for AI video generation tools with a free plan or paid plans with less expensive pricing.

Any recommendations?

Thank you

Hi, you can try Lumen5, InVideo, and Pictory. They offer free plans with basic features and affordable upgrades. Also, Canva’s video maker has AI elements and a free tier.

Thank you @eva_greene

I would say be careful, because you get what you pay for… some of the video generated really, really looks like it is fake, and if the game is to create trust, then having fake appearing video will crush that.

My tip: keep the amount of generated content to short clips. The shorter, the better. Most people on social media are hyper-exposed to quick edits as it is anyway.

(I’m a grumpy old guy who studied film making and this probably has a heavy bias on this comment)

It depends on what you’re trying to create. For AI avatar videos, I’ve found HeyGen and Synthesia to be good options. For cinematic AI videos, Kling AI, Veo, and Hailuo AI produce impressive results. If you’re looking for something budget-friendly, Pika, Luma AI, and CapCut AI are worth checking out as they offer free tiers or relatively affordable plans. I’d recommend trying a few to see which one fits your workflow and video style best.

Hi there @WebsiteDeveloper
If you want to know where to find the best value at the moment, both CapCut, Canva and InVideo offer free plans that are ideal for getting started. Pika and Luma are also interesting to check out for more creative video generation, and Runway provides robust features with flexible paid plans. I say test a couple of free plans and seee which workflow works best for you before you buy.
