Japan’s major carriers (Yamato Transport, Sagawa Express) deliver on weekends as standard. However, Japan is not supported by Shopify’s transit time feature, so merchants can’t set transit time in calendar days — only business days (Mon–Fri) are available.
This causes inaccurate delivery estimates at checkout. For example, a Friday order that arrives Saturday is shown as Monday or later.
Please extend the transit time (calendar days) feature to Japan fulfillment locations.

I totally support this feature request. If Yamato and Sagawa deliver on weekends as standard, showing Monday delivery for a Friday order is misleading and likely hurting conversion.
Until Shopify adds calendar day support for Japan, check out NS Estimated Delivery Date in the App Store. It lets you configure working days including weekends, set Japanese holidays, and show accurate delivery estimates on product pages, cart, and checkout. It specifically supports Japanese store setups. Has a free plan too.

I also took a look at your store and just wanted to say it’s beautifully crafted. The secret engraving on the tie pins is a brilliant differentiator for the gift market, and the after-sales service is exactly what a luxury brand needs online.

You’re absolutely right — weekend delivery is standard in Japan, so the current Shopify estimate can feel inaccurate. We’ll check out NS Estimated Delivery Date.
