Happy New Year everyone!
I am racking my brain on how to accept payments for online order in-store via the Shopify POS. I feel like this should be easily done by clicking the “collect payment” button on the selected order. I even tried setting up a custom payment option in the POS to confirm payment, but it never works. Can someone please help me here?

Hi, may I ask if you what to have a Pick-up option for your store? Customers can order online and pick up at your Point of Sale?

Customers can reserve online and pick-up in-store. However in the Shopify POS it is not possible for me to then accept payment for their online order. At the moment I have to completely cancel their online order and then create a new order with the POS to accept payment.
I feel like I should be able to pay for an online order in-store via the POS, but apparently not. But maybe I am doing something wrong?

@VitraCircle Hi, I have tested the Shopify Pick up in store several time, and it did take my payment successfully. I think a video capture or a online meeting will have me better understand your use case:
