whenever i click “Track My Order”, i get redirected to “Our Materials”.
i know its not a problems with my pages, because i see that the proper page is linked.
the only thing that i notice is that my previous copy of my website does not have this problem, but this was before i created the “Our Materials” page. the only thing i did with the “Our Materials” page is added a few animations, but that’s all.
anyone know a solution for this? thanks.
(my website link is pyramidas.myshopify.com
if that doesn’t work, try pyramidas.com)
Hi @jacobleys ,
It’s working proper I think. As it’s redirected on different pages with the same content.
hi, thank you for responding.
see, i know what youre saying. i notice that the two links between the two pages are different.

but the “Track My Order” page contains this:
My “Our Solutions” page contains nothing. I also notice that when i try to hide a block on one page, it hides it on the other. its as if the two pages are connected.
ive also added new pages and menus to see if the “Our Materials” info would copy over, and it did. Every new page I create, the “Our Materials” info gets copied over.
@jacobleys ,
Can you please change the template of new created page? Check the page after changing the template from the admin.
Hi @jacobleys ,
Please go to your theme editor > Pages > Default Page and check if the default page section is hidden.
There’re 2 types of Page section: 1 is dynamically linked with the actual content of each page and 1 is linked with a specific page content. It could be that the 1st one is disabled while the 2nd one is enabled and is linked to your “Our Materials” page. Please check my screenshots below for easier understanding.
Simply enable the correct section and hide the incorrect one.
I hope it helps.

i appreciate you both taking the time to help me out, but i might not be conveying my problem properly.
the information on the “Our Materials” page isn’t information inside of a page. The "Track My Order page is info inside of a page. Every time I add a section or block to one of the pages, it immediately copies over to the other one.
Not only do sections and blocks copy over, but the page selected copies over as well. I’m not sure what is causing this.
I did mess with the code to make some animations, but I’m not sure what else I could have done from that to make this happen.
i notice this person also seems to have the same problem:

@jacobleys , Don’t get your issue exactly. can you explain in detail like by sharing the your screen or in any other way?
Hi @jacobleys ,
- As I mentioned, there’re 2 types of page section and you have 2 here. You should disable the 2nd one and enable the first one. The first one is dynamically linked to each page while the 2nd one is only linked to a specific page.
- Regarding the issue of added sections and blocks being copied to other pages, it’s because all of your pages are using the same template.
You can totally create a different template for each page within the theme editor:
-
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
-
Select Pages > Default Page from the page selector then click on Create template
- Edit the template then save it.
Next, you’ll need to assign a template to each page:
-
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages
-
Use the search filter to locate the page that you want to change, or click on the page from the list of existing pages.
-
In the Online store section, use the dropdown menu to select a new theme template to apply to the selected page.
-
Click Save.
You can refer to this Shopify guide.
I hope my answer helps.
