Alternate product name for customs invoice?

Hello,

My product names are not properly descriptive for commercial invoices. I wanted to know if there was a way to have an alternate product name or tag that my commerical invoices can draw from so they don’t have to updated manually for every order?

My current product names include a scent description and some perfume note but don’t explicitly say what the product is. I would love to have the commerical invoice just say what the product is,

I can definitely understand why this would be important! Are you using any specific app or tool to create your customized invoices yet? Depending on what you are using you may be able to use a metafield to add in the additional information or even an if/then statement when adding those products.

You may require a developer to assist you with the liquid code for that customization.
