Alternative email option for product export

Hi,

I need information about alternative email option for product export file where i can easily download products csv file.
My main issue is, i am using admin account of shopify store and want to export all products backup in csv file.

Shopify sent export file to my senior developer email and i cannot access of that email.
I want to insert my email as an alternative for download product csv file, Because i could contact again and again to my senior developer for the seeking of product export file…

At this stage there isn’t yet a way natively on the Shopify admin to export CSV files to a different email address other than the ones that are on file for your store.

Was there a reason that you’re using the account owner’s login? If you create your own staff account and login to the store using this account, you’d be able receive the exported CSV file on your account’s own email address. As your staff account is separate from the account owner of the store, any CSV exports that exceed more than 50 products will automatically also be sent to the account owner’s email address. You can find more information about that on our Help Centre document here.

If you can’t create additional staff accounts for your store, due to having already met the maximum staff account numbers for example, you can look into installing a third-party app to help address your issue. Data Export Reports and Matrixify are a couple of popular apps that you can look into. Just a note however that these apps are made by third-party developers outside of Shopify. So if you have any questions about them I would recommend getting in touch with the app developers, as they are best equipped to answer app-specific queries.

You sure can use our app for such backup task.

The app does not set email with the file, as that is really not a secure way of storing data - in email. But with our app, you can set up repeated Products export using the app and always see your past exports and exported files in the app.

So if you need any previous Matrixify exported file - open the All Jobs page, find the export you need, and download the exported file.
