Congratulations to your store! It’s so pretty but yes it’s speed is quite slow. I just saw your problem and I have a suggestion for you to test your website. You can try Google PageSpeed Insights. I’ve tested your homepage here, 35 scores for mobile is really low performance.
I have some suggestions that you can improve it:
- The biggest reason that makes your page run slowly on mobile is “JavaScript execution time”. You should reduce unused JavaScript and defer loading scripts until they are required to decrease bytes consumed by network activity.
- You should consider resizing images size. If you want to optimize your images to help your page loading speed faster, you can use some of the image optimization tools like: ImageOptim, Shopify Online Image Resizer, tinypng.com or imagecompressor.com. And If you have images that go with .PNG file, you can convert them to .JPG or .JPEG files
- The page content migh be too much, you can consider reduce them, especially the third-party apps codes significantly impact load performance. Limit the number of redundant third-party providers and try to load third-party code after your page has primarily finished loading.
- Optimize your images and delayed loading of off-screen images: Consider partially loading hidden and off-screen images after all your important resources have been loaded to reduce interaction time.
Besides, you should check both Mobile and Desktop devices in the report. On the desktop, we can see the problem still come from your resizing images and unused code too.
You can do the same thing with other pages to test and improve it.
Besides, I have some suggestion about the UI/UX of the page that you can improve customer experience quality:
- It’ll be better if you adjust the text which overlaid the picture in your hero banner and the collection list. I think it’s hard to scan and read. You should use another color or make your background picture a bit transparent.
- Sticky header helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also quickly reach the Search field to find products with a sticky header.
- The Instagram section loading speed is quite slow too. And this pagination should be moved down a little
