Any recommendations for a BOGO 50% app?

Our store just transitioned from our previous POS to Shopify. I’m looking for a recommendation for a Shopify app that can allow for a customized Buy One Get One 50% off discount for a collection of items.

Sale specifications:

• The sale applies to every other item, in descending price order. For example: if someone is buying 4 items, the $50 item would be full price, the $40 item would be half price, $25 item is full price, $10 item is half price.
• The sale is unlimited. Someone can buy 2 items or 20, the sale would apply for all the items in that collection.
• I would like the sale to be easy to apply for my in-store staff – applying the sale as a discount code would be ideal.

This is a sale that our store has run every year for decades. With our previous POS, we had to apply this sale manually, as that POS didn’t really support BOGO-type discounts – if there are any apps out there that would cater to this type of discount, please let me know!

Isn’t that just normal BOGOS as separate sets of discounts with separate conditions?

Or NOT actually a BOGO 50%, but some sort of distributed/graduated tiered discount weighted* per line item starting with the first?!
*weight in the MATH sense NOT the physical shipping sense.
You’d have to dig around for an off the shelf app that’ that flexible.

If not a bundling system instead of purely discounting.

That type of compounding requirements moves quickly into needing to build a custom app.
Or using custom-draft orders, e.g. https://tasks.mechanic.dev/create-a-draft-order-from-the-cart ( for the online sales channel, POS would be different)

Otherwise if not of this is affordable then consider a simpler scheme to avoid unicorn requirements.
Such as prebuilt products that match the final price, or even variants that act as a pack or kit.

I believe that the app BOGOS should do the trick just fine! They do have a free plan that you can check out!

Of course, there are a variety of apps on the Shopify App store that can help you out. Give it a look and take your pick!
