Hi everyone
I’m part of a small team exploring how eCommerce businesses can better understand the impact of their promotions—what’s working, what’s not, and how to plan more effectively.
We’re currently speaking with a few merchants who have at least two years of trading history on Shopify and have run promotions or discount campaigns before.
If that sounds like you, and you’re open to testing something new and sharing your feedback, we’d be happy to offer a few months of free access in return. Our goal is simply to learn from real businesses and make sure we’re building something that’s genuinely useful.
If you’re curious and want to chat, feel free to reply here—happy to share more context.
Thanks so much!
Hey! Thanks so much for your reply — really appreciate it!
Sounds like you’d be a great fit for what we’re exploring. I’ll keep it brief here, but in a nutshell: while Shopify’s analytics give you solid visibility into what happened during a promotion (like sales uplift), our tool is focused on helping you understand why it happened — and more importantly, what will likely happen next time.
It uses predictive modelling to estimate how different types of discounts (or timing, or channels) are likely to impact profit, margin, and sell-through before you run them. It also helps identify which promotions quietly eroded margin, and which ones genuinely drove performance.
If you’re up for it, I’d love to share a few more details — maybe walk you through how it works with a past campaign of yours to show the kind of insights it can surface?
Let me know what works best for you, and thanks again for your interest!
Hey there @hand_toe_knee Your tool sounds amazing to be very honest. I hope you were able to also share this on platforms like Twitter(X) and Reddit as I’m sure a lot of people on there would love to jump on this offer and give you well detailed feedback in return.

Thanks for the kind words! We think it’s pretty amazing too!
We are cautious as to the number of clients we take on at the moment, we’re a small team so just want to make sure it’s as smooth as possible before we open the floodgates!
